Nexus Shell brings SSH terminals, SFTP files, Docker containers and server monitoring into one native macOS workspace.

WORK ACROSS YOUR SERVERS Organize connections with favorites and tags. Open multiple SSH terminal tabs, switch between sessions, and enjoy 24-bit truecolor with a terminal theme that fits your workflow. Connect directly or through an SSH jump host.

MOVE AND EDIT FILES Browse local and remote folders side by side with SFTP. Transfer files, compare directories, and open remote files in your preferred local editor. Saving uploads changes back to the server, with conflict detection and transfer progress in view.

MANAGE DOCKER AND COMPOSE Inspect remote containers, images, ports and resource use. Read logs and manage containers and Docker Compose projects from a dedicated interface. Docker must be installed on the remote server.

SEE SERVER HEALTH Monitor CPU, memory, network traffic and disk activity. Inspect server specifications, processes and network diagnostics without assembling a collection of terminal commands.

KEEP YOUR SSH TOOLS TOGETHER Generate and organize SSH keys. Record, search and replay terminal sessions, with encrypted local storage and configurable retention. Review SSH authentication activity on supported servers.

OPTIONAL AI ASSISTANCE Ask about terminal output or turn plain language into a command. Configure your own supported AI provider and credentials; provider charges may apply. When used, AI requests and the selected context are sent directly to your configured provider.

FREE CORE, OPTIONAL PRO Connection management and the SSH terminal are available free with no time limit. Pro unlocks SFTP, key management, Docker, monitoring, AI assistance and session logs.

Choose either a one-time lifetime Pro purchase or a yearly auto-renewing Pro subscription. Eligible new subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial. The price is displayed in the app before purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. After cancellation, Pro remains available until the paid period ends and the free SSH features remain available.

BUILT FOR MAC Requires macOS 14.2 or later and Apple Silicon. The Mac App Store edition runs in the macOS App Sandbox. No Nexus Shell account is required. You provide access to your own SSH servers.

The Mac App Store edition stores its data separately from the direct-download edition; connections do not transfer automatically.
