Contact
One address, read by the person who runs the site. There is no ticket system and no contact form to fall into a void.
The address
Replies usually come within two working days. Slower at weekends, and this is one person rather than a support desk.
What to include
A refund
Write from the address you used at checkout and name the app. That is enough to find the order. The refund policy says what you are owed at each stage.
A correction or a takedown
Send the link to the listing and say what is wrong. If you want an app removed from the directory, say so and it goes — a free listing is removed on request, without argument, whether or not you are the developer who submitted it.
Something about a placement
Give the app and the dates. If the question is about where your app appeared or for how long, that is usually enough to answer it straight away.
A privacy request
Say what you want: what is held, a correction, or deletion. The privacy policy describes what there is to hold, which is less than you probably expect.
Things this address cannot help with
- An app itself — bugs, refunds for a purchase inside an app, or support for software listed here. Those go to the developer who made it, or to Apple. We are a directory and have no relationship with the apps beyond listing them.
- Buying an app you saw on the for-sale page — we do not broker, introduce or take a cut. Contact the developer through their own site.
- A card payment problem — those are handled by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. Write to us anyway if you are stuck and we will point you to the right place.
Who runs this
Indie Apps is a directory of iPhone, iPad and Mac apps made by independent developers. It is made and run by one person, which is the same reason the site exists.
