FogAway - Fog Map of Walks

Watch the streets you explore emerge from the fog. Record your routes, revisit each day in the timeline, and share a journey. Tracks stay in your local database; you choose what to back up or share.

No sign-up, ads or analytics.

See where you have been Usable location fixes gradually uncover the fog. Choose map and fog styles, and revisit a day, week, month or your full history. • Three fog styles • Inaccurate fixes never reveal streets you didn’t walk; flights don’t count • Long-press to add a privacy zone

A timeline of your days See recording periods and endpoints in the timeline. Tap a calendar day for details, edit place names separately, or export a replay video. • Edit start and end places separately • Replay export with preview, progress and cancellation • Cities, streaks and exploration statistics

Bring your history along Export everything as one archive of standard GPX files and import it on a new phone. Keep database backups in your own iCloud Drive. • Merge existing records • Data export even without a subscription • Manual and optional automatic backups

SUBSCRIPTION AND TRIAL Full access requires a monthly or annual subscription, or a lifetime purchase. Eligible annual subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Monthly and lifetime plans have no trial. Without a subscription, background recording continues, with Restore Purchases and data export available at the paywall.

Local prices and eligibility are shown by the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage them in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Restore purchases and data export remain accessible without a subscription.

PERMISSIONS AND NETWORK Recording needs location permission. Background recording depends on iOS scheduling and permissions. Tracks are stored locally and are not automatically uploaded to us. Maps, search and place names use Apple network services. Backups go to your own iCloud; feedback is sent only at your request.
