Local Recorder: Voice Recorder

Record the whole meeting. Stay in the conversation.

Local Recorder is a voice recorder for long meetings, lectures, interviews, and everyday ideas on iPhone and iPad. Recordings are saved on your device, and recording and playback work offline. No account is required.

RECORD FOR HOURS Keep recording in the background and on the Lock Screen. Pause and resume when you need to, adjust recording quality, and choose an unattended limit of 1, 3, 6, 12, or 24 hours, or no limit.

QUICK VOICE REMINDERS Hold the record button, say what you need to remember, then release to save. Choose a reminder in 30 minutes, in an hour, tonight, tomorrow morning, or at a time you pick. Tap the notification to listen.

FIND RECORDINGS BY DATE Archive recordings into a month calendar and tap a highlighted day to browse them. Search by name or tag, filter by tags, and add notes and favorites.

SKIP THE SILENCE Optional silence skipping trims quiet stretches from the saved recording. Adjust the silence threshold, delay, resume threshold, and required sound duration to suit your surroundings.

LISTEN AND SHARE Explore the waveform and playback dial, share an m4a audio file, or save a recording to Photos as a video.
