Platter is a little CD player for your Mac.
Bring the feel of a physical CD player to your desktop. Drag a cover onto the deck and watch the disc spin as your music plays. Connect Apple Music or use Platter alongside Spotify.
APPLE MUSIC Play music directly in Platter with your Apple Music subscription. Browse recently played tracks and library songs on the shelf, then drag one onto the deck. No need to keep the Music app open.
SPOTIFY Use Platter alongside the Spotify desktop app. Keep Spotify open, then drag a recent cover onto the deck or control playback right on the disc.
SMALL DETAILS, EVERYDAY PLEASURE • Play, pause, skip, shuffle, and repeat on the player • Keep your music close with a menu bar mini player • Choose a light or dark appearance for your desktop • Available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese
Requires an Apple Music subscription or a Spotify account. Spotify playback requires the Spotify desktop app to be open.
Platter includes a 7-day free trial. After the trial, you can unlock Platter permanently with a one-time purchase. No subscription.
Platter recreates the look and interaction of a CD player. Music playback comes from the services listed above; Platter does not read or play physical CDs.
Platter is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or Spotify.
