SCANTIVO SMART UPLOAD: THE RIGHT SIZE

When you select a PDF in the document picker, Scantivo Smart Upload prepares a copy adapted to the required size. The original stays intact and processing stays on your device. Only PDFs scanned with Scantivo are supported.

• On compatible websites, the Safari extension can detect the limit once enabled and authorised. Illustrated guides also explain how to enable the Scantivo location in Files. • For another app, or when no limit is detected, enter a size in MB (suggested: 4 MB; you can change it — it is not a cap). • PDFs already within the limit are not compressed unnecessarily.

Scantivo Smart Upload aims to get close to the limit while preserving as much quality as possible; unchanged quality, success and acceptance by every website are not guaranteed.

BACKUP, ICLOUD AND SCANTIVO PULSE

During the trial or with Scantivo Unlimited, sync PDFs between iPhone and iPad via iCloud and create an encrypted backup. Restoring an existing Scantivo backup stays free with its password.

Scantivo Pulse alerts you when a new version of a PDF published by Scantivo arrives in a compatible iCloud Drive folder you monitor. The alert service receives neither your PDFs nor their contents.
