Everything that matters in the Jewish day, at the right time and in one place.
Shavua Tov helps you discover what is special today, see when Shabbat begins, open the right prayer, and understand the meaning behind a holiday or Hebrew date. Its Hebrew-first interface creates a clear path from a time, date, or question to useful content.
Your day, connected to tradition
• See candle-lighting and Havdalah times for your selected city. • Read the weekly Torah portion, Haftarah, and a concise parashah insight. • Follow a daily siddur flow with morning blessings, the Amidah, Aleinu, Shacharit, Mincha, and Arvit. • Browse a Hebrew calendar with holidays, fasts, Rosh Chodesh, Omer counting, and special Shabbatot. • Open Today for date-specific observances, prayers, and learning. • Receive optional local reminders that deep-link to the relevant content. • Search a bundled Jewish learning library by text, tag, or date. • Search future dates to prepare for an upcoming Shabbat, holiday, or observance. • Use the prayer compass to find the direction of Jerusalem. • Read Tehillim, try a parashah quiz, and use practical Jewish tools.
Learn at your own pace
The learning database is bundled with the app, keeping search fast and available without a constant connection. When a subject has multiple established traditions or approaches, the content identifies the distinction and points to its sources.
Prepare at the right time
The calendar calculates Hebrew dates and observances across year types, including leap years and calendar variations. Practical times depend on your selected city, date, and settings.
Shavua Tov helps you begin the day with intention, prepare for Shabbat, and find a meaningful next step in prayer or learning.
