Take a photo of your plate. Snapkin names the food, estimates the calories and the protein, and adds it to the day. No barcodes, no database search, no weighing every ingredient.

It shows its work. Every meal lists what it thought was on the plate and how sure it is. Disagree in plain language — "that was half that size", "there was more butter" — and the numbers update in place.

Sometimes a photograph cannot show something: how much butter went on, whether the milk was semi-skimmed. Snapkin does not quietly guess. It asks, tells you how many calories hang on the answer, and one tap settles it. What you answer is remembered, so the same question does not come back every morning.
