StageMate: Sheet Music Reader

Keep your hands on your instrument. Import your own PDFs, images or scanned scores into StageMate on iPhone or iPad, then turn pages with a blink, head gesture, tap or compatible Bluetooth page turner.

Make practice easier Write fingering and reminders on the page. Add text and music symbols, browse page thumbnails, and choose to resume where you left off. Export scores with annotations as PDFs or images.

Prepare your performance Organize songs into setlists, adjust their order and start from a selected piece. Use half-page or two-page layouts, with a tuner and metronome close at hand.

Free includes score import, annotations and annotated export, blink and head-gesture page turning, practice-position memory and page thumbnails. Create up to 3 setlists and extract score information 5 times per month. Pro adds iCloud sync, shared-setlist creation, unlimited setlists and unlimited score information extraction. Libraries and purchases are currently separate on iOS and Android.

Camera-based page turning depends on your device, lighting and position. Try it with the setup guide before performing. StageMate is a reader for your own scores, not a sheet music download catalog.

Save each score’s loop range, practice tempo and metronome settings, and name passages for easy access. Play, seek and rename practice recordings in the app, organized by score. Create separate annotation versions for teacher notes, your fingering or performances, and choose which to read or export.
