Anvil – Offline AI Assistant

Your ideas. Your assistant. Your iPhone.

Anvil is an offline and private AI assistant for your iPhone: chat, everyday tools and image creation. Write a first draft, make sense of a document or turn an idea into a picture. Local AI runs on your phone, with no Anvil account required.

CHAT WHEREVER YOU ARE Brainstorm, rewrite, ask questions and work through ideas with Anvil Core. Download the model once, then keep chatting offline, even in airplane mode. On supported devices, you can also use Apple Intelligence when it is enabled and available. Or add a compatible open model of your own from Hugging Face or Files.

PUT YOUR IDEAS TO WORK • Write and refine messages, outlines and creative drafts. • Attach a PDF and ask about its text. Ask about photos and screenshots; text in them is read on your iPhone. • Keep written notes close to the conversation. • Check your calendar and add events with your permission. • Save useful details in Memory, then review or delete them whenever you like. • Open Anvil from Apple Shortcuts, Control Center or your Lock Screen.

CREATE IMAGES ON YOUR PHONE Describe a scene, explore a visual idea or create something just for fun. Download Anvil Dream or Dream Lite and make two pictures a day for free, generated on your device. Anvil Pro makes as many as you like. You can also add compatible Core ML image models from Hugging Face or Files.

TALK IT THROUGH With Anvil Pro, Talk Mode lets you speak naturally and hear replies aloud. Speech recognition and playback run on the phone, so you can use voice with a local model offline once the required assets are available.

MEETING NOTES Record or import meeting audio, transcribe it and create summaries on your iPhone. Free includes five minutes of saved audio; Pro removes that storage limit. Transcription requires a supported device on iOS 26 or later and downloaded language assets. Summaries require Apple Intelligence or Anvil Core.

CONNECT WHEN YOU CHOOSE Turn on Web Search for answers from the web in real time, with linked sources. Web Search uses online services and sends your question off the device. Turn it off to return to local chat.

PRIVACY YOU CAN CONTROL Your chats, notes, meeting recordings, memories and images are stored on your iPhone. No ads, no advertising tracking and no analytics SDK. Anvil does not require an account.

Optional iCloud backup stores encrypted content in your own iCloud account; end to end protection requires Apple's Advanced Data Protection. You can turn backup off in Settings. Downloads, web search, purchases and reports you choose to send use network services. See our privacy policy for details.

START FREE. ADD ANVIL PRO. Free includes local chat, document and photo attachments, 2 images a day, 5 Web Search queries a day, calendar, memory, Shortcuts, iCloud backup, passcode lock, and up to 10 written notes.

GETTING STARTED Anvil Core is a separate download of about 2.6 GB. Image models need additional storage. Features and speed depend on your iPhone and selected model; Apple Intelligence requires a supported device and enabled service.
